- Shaping and positioning the HR Team: Identifying the shape and skill set of the HR Team
- Pay & Reward: Reviewing pay and reward practice by carrying out a salary survey, designing and agreeing some pay principles and view of market position, drafting some descriptions for each pay band and developing some guidelines for pay progression
- Recruitment: Reviewing existing practice and seeking new ways of sourcing candidates by identifying new advertising opportunities, particularly for digital and IT roles and identifying reasons for previous failed recruitment processes linking them to actions around pay and review and organisational culture.
The Outcome
- A clear HR strategy and plan which was delivered and taken on by the new Director of People and Culture
- Handle some potential difficult staff issues which needed resolving..
