Her expertise is inspiring and leading organisational cultural change, directing corporate and HR strategy and planning together with complex organisational restructures ensuring that staff are engaged and informed from the very start. She has project managed cross-organisational working groups to deliver key strategic goals within demanding timeframes and budgets.

Kate has over 20 years’ experience in providing high level administration and business support across many industries and for the last seven years has been supporting various companies and individuals as a freelancer through her VA business.
Her background is in the financial and luxury sectors, although she now has a varied client base tailoring her support to their needs.
Kate has been working with Hafton for the past five years providing them and their clients with flexible HR Admin support. She has helped their clients with standardising their documentation, onboarding new staff and setting up new systems as well as supporting Hafton with their marketing. Kate has good attention to detail, a proactive attitude and extensive knowledge of how good admin support can elevate a company.

Mercy is a Certified Human Resources practitioner (CHRP-K) and HR Consultant (CHRC) in Kenya. Her broad experience spanning 20 years of HR generalist and leadership gained across various sectors in Kenya and the Eastern Africa region, has provided her with great experience and knowledge in business and people management strategies.
Mercy has extensive experience in organisational design, change and transformation, remuneration design and restructure, performance and reward management, talent acquisition and employee retention strategies, workplace training, and executive coaching.
Mercy has previously worked with various organizations including those in the international NGOs, Insurance, Healthcare and Telecommunications sectors at senior HR leadership levels.
Furthermore, she also supports growing organisations, in particular small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by providing outsourced HR and payroll services.
She is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management in Kenya (FIHRM-K) and a Faculty Member at the College of Human Resource Management (CHRM). Mercy holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Human Resource Management & Strategic Management and a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching – AoEC (UK).
She is the founder and Lead Consultant at HCDA Limited, a private HR Consultancy practice based in Nairobi that has been in operation for the last 8 years.

Emma has over 18 years’ experience working in human resources in a range of sectors and organisational cultures. Emma is Chartered member of the CIPD and a mental health first aider.
Emma is a generalist who has a wider range of experience from dealing with all the HR elements of setting up businesses both inside and outside the UK and international restructures to cultural change and process implementation.
